Step into A World of Pure Imagination at our annual fundraising gala on May 2, 2026 and support the fight to end hunger.
WHEN
Each year, we hold an annual event that is our main and biggest fundraising effort. It includes both silent and live auctions, dinner, and of course dessert. The event has drawn volunteers, donors and sponsors from all aspects of the community and has supported the viability of our organization. Each year, businesses and individuals pool their resources to provide auction items and sponsorship money, and each year we have a successful fundraiser, and it continues to grow. We cannot thank those businesses and individuals enough for keeping us in their budgets, and contributing in so many ways the success of the Central Kitsap Food Bank.
Those contributions are 100% invested into the food bank, helping to procure food, pay the bills, and hopefully grow to the point of expanding our service capability.
HOW
Board members, food bank staff, volunteers, donors, and sponsors all contribute and participate in the coordination of the event. Our goal is to provide recognition and thanks to those who contribute in every and any way we can, and hope that you have a fun experience, a great dinner, drinks (and of course dessert!) and walk away with something fun. Without each volunteer, the event could not take place, so we are always extremely grateful to those who chair the committees, attend the late meetings, seek out donations, and see the event through from beginning to end.
WHEN
The auction is typically held on the first Saturday in the month of May, and each year the location is determined based on the size of expected attendance.

We offer curbside pickup for existing customers who prefer a more convenient way to receive their groceries. This service is especially helpful for those with mobility challenges, health concerns, or tight schedules—no need to leave your car, we’ll bring your groceries right to you.
To use curbside pickup, you MUST call ahead to schedule by 9:00–9:30 AM on the day you plan to come in. Once scheduled, just pull into the parking lot and give us a call—we’ll take care of the rest.
In some cases, online grocery ordering may be available, depending on staff and volunteer capacity. This option is evaluated on a base-by-base basis and may be paused or cancelled at any time. If approved, orders must be placed by 10:00 PM the night before pickup. Please speak with staff before placing your order and again prior to pickup to confirm that your order is ready.
